This course introduced the management of nonprofit performing arts organizations from the perspective of a general manager. Topics included organizational structure, board governance, staffing, budgeting, finance, marketing, fundraising, and daily operations. The course strengthened my understanding of how mission- driven arts organizations function strategically and financially, preparing me for future leadership roles in upper-level arts administration.
